2017 Battle on the Border Recap

The 2017 Battle on the Border Soccer Tournament concluded on August 27. The tournament featured 20 different competition brackets ranging from U8- HS.

Outside of providing a great soccer outlet the tournament focused on ALS awareness. This was possible through the amazing support of our community sponsors. We brought back the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and was able to raise some dollars for the ALS Wisconsin Chapter.

The Kenosha Crew had a very strong showing in the event as well with many first and second place finishes as well as a few heartbreaking finishes just outside of the finals.

Kenosha Crew teams that finished on top of their bracket were:

U9B Crew Navy
U12B Crew Navy
U15B Crew Sky
U10G Crew Navy
U11G Crew Navy
U12G Crew Navy
U15G Crew Navy

Kenosha Crew teams that finished in second place in their brackets were:

U11B Crew Navy
U12B Crew Black
U15B Crew Navy
U9G Crew Navy
U10G Crew Sky
U18G Crew Navy

We are proud of the accomplishments and effort put forth by all of our teams. It was a privilege to be able to host another great event in the Kenosha Community.
